National Capital Model United Nations 2015

The National Capital Model United Nations Conference (NCMUN) is an entirely student run academic and public speaking conference to be held from October 2nd – 4th 2015 at the Australian National University (ANU). The conference simulates the diplomatic and political processes of the United Nations committees and provides students with the opportunity to engage in relevant international issues from a youth perspective. Students all over Australia are expected to attend this conference. Students desire providing their own solutions to international issues and the conference provides an ideal avenue to understand the complexity of issues in our globalised world. Canberra occupies a unique position in the Australian political and diplomatic community and provides a unique backdrop compared to other conferences held in Australia. Providing delegates with opportunities, such as visiting embassies, is a possibility unique to Canberra.
